We all wondered if it would really take place and kind of knew once word got out that Katie had already picked out her dress and went to Rome with Victoria. However, no one was 100% until Tom and Katie flew to Rome with all their family and friends. Stop guessing, it happened yesterday and boy did all the news channels cover at least part of it. Here are a few shots that were my favorite.
This is the gorgeous dress by Armani that Katie wore on her big day. Did you know that Armani is a close friend of Tom's and even makes most of the outfits you see Tom and Katie wearing when they are out and about?
Now what kind of weather would you expect for a day like this? I'm sure they had thought of a beautiful sunny day, however the clouds had other ideas and poured down as guests arrive.
Katie arrived at the castle, carrying Little Suri under a sea of green umbrellas two hours prior to Tom Cruise. You didn't think they'd show up together did you? Remember it is bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.
The happy couple celebrated by going out and eating the night before with little Suri right along with them. A shock to most of us Americans since we had never seen a picture of them with her except for the ones that came from Vanity Fair.
The wedding was everything we would've expected, it was a page from every girl's fantasy....a fairy tale wedding. Katie's Prince Charming swooped her off her feet and married her in the castle. What more could she ask for, she already has the most precious gift she could ask for....Little Suri.
