Oprah repeatedly told the parents,
"I've disappointed you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."
Less than two weeks ago rumors spread that one of the dorm parents were physically abusing the children. Throwing them against walls, grabbing them by the necks, etc. Oprah immediately flew down and she's been up there a few more times. This last time she told them all that the matron had fooled her and she felt really bad for what had happened, even gave the girls, she calls them daughters, her phone number and email address so they could get in touch with her personally.
