This past Friday, Tom Cruise flew down to present the Imagen Lifetime Achievement award to CAA agent Emanuel Nunez. Congrats to Emanuel.

Tom Cruise and Family sleeps in the Park

Oh there is no where that isn't home for this family, Tom Cruise took his adorable little family to the Melbourne Botanical Gardens this past week and apparently they got a bit tired. Suri fell asleep in mommy, Katie Holmes', arms and Tom gently helped Katie lay on the ground. Tom laying beside her, it looked as if the entire family would soon fall fast asleep. But with the waiting cameras it didn't seem that Tom got much sleep.

I swear with all the cameras I'm surprised he's so friendly to the media.

Katie Holmes Running with Suri

Katie Holmes was spotted running around at Mount Macedon in Australia, it looked as if they were playing tag. I love that Suri sticks her tongue out as she runs, I was always told that I did that as a child. The pair traveled all around the set for "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" as Suri ran, walked, jumped through the leaves and marched along with her mom.

I've noticed the big difference between just last year at this time and now, Katie Holmes tends to dress Suri more appropriately. Suri was seen in aqua colored leggings, a dark colored shirt with a dark blue zipper jacket. She is also wearing white boots with colored spots on them, her hair was flying all over the place.

Katie was bundled up in a heavy black jacket, , colorful scarf, white shirt and blue jeans. She had her hair loose too and it was flying around everywhere.

Katie Holmes Escapes Car Fire

Katie Holmes is really SuperGirl and knows just how close she came to danger just last weekend. She had been filming a scene inside a car for "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" and the car exploded in flames just after she had got out a few minutes before. It doesn't seem like this was a planned explosion, so she got very lucky and after the fire was out Katie was seen very shook up but she seemed to be able to go on filming even after this happened. So glad to hear she wasn't hurt during this.

For those that are curious she is being stalked by little evil gnomes and they were bugging her inside the car. However, (not part of the movie) the car battery exploded and the car caught fire. Thankfully they got to it before the whole car went up in flames. The crew removed that battery and went on filming. I am now wondering if this will be added into the movie.

Hopefully the rest of the filming will go off without any more explosions that weren't in the script.

Legally Blondes

Uh oh, just when you thought you’d finally put up that Legally Blonde DVD or Mean Girls, another moves into town except this isn’t your average movie. Legally BLONDES, that is with an “s” is coming to ABC Family channel on August 2^nd at 8/7 Central.

I’ll look for a youtube version of it, but if not I’ll try keeping you posted as I’m sure my girls will definitely want to see this. The picture in the magazine shows two blonde teen girls with long straight hair, everything is pink. They’ve got pink flats, pink dresses, bracelets, jewelry, sunglasses and even their dog leashes are pink. Once again it looks like the mini dog, the chicawa is back. I’m sure this will be a tale of two girls in a high school and able to drive and such. If you are a “Legally Blonde” fan you can watch the original 1 & 2 at 4pm/3 central on Sunday.

It seems two blonde twins are moving into Hollywood and they are going to change the way the school does things. When one faculty member tries to come down on the girls for the way they dress, errr change their uniforms she tells them the code that states they must wear the uniforms. They reply back with another code stating it doesn't say they can't accessorize said uniform. hehe. Sounds like another Elle Woods on this school's hands. Course this one is double trouble. Were you able to watch it?

Is Katie Holmes moving to Sex in the City?

Is Katie Holmes really moving to "Sex in the City" from "Dawson's Creek"? I guess this would definitely show she's grown up and a woman now instead of some teen girls that so many of us remember. But as far as the role would go I can totally see her fitting the part. These are powerful business women that work in New York, so it wouldn't be a stretch for someone like Katie Holmes to play this part, I mean she is "Cruise's wife." 

The shooting would begin this Fall, which would mean if Katie does take this part or gets it she would go immediately from Australia to New York. I think this would definitely put her back on track for her movie career but is Tom willing to split his time with his wife? I did hear that they really loved the first Sex in the City movie so I think this would be a fun one for her and hope she gets it. I know I'd go see it if she got the part.

Oh the part is:

"The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha."

Hayden Panettiere Splits with Milo

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have finally split up. I'm sorry but how many were really rooting for these two? It was really gross seeing the two together, due to their age. Now some are stating that they believe it is Hayden's age and how she likes to act it. I don't see nothing wrong with her wanting to party with others her age, but for someone like Milo this could pose a problem. Milo has always been more of a by himself type of person, Hayden seems to be the life of the party type of girl. Now she'll be everywhere.

Madonna's Got a New Man

Madonna was rumored to be hanging out with A-Rod after her quickie divorce from Guy Ritchie but now she's hanging with someone else. No one knows just who this "new guy" is just yet but I'm sure you give the press a few days and someone will figure it out.

In the past few weeks she has been one really busy lady, first she just finished a beautiful photo shoot with Louis Vuitton, famous for its' bags. One picture has Madonna legs open in a restaurant booth, one leg holding up the bag.

John Travolta Died

John Travolta's son died while they were vacationing in the Bahamas this past Friday. As you can imagine they are going through a tremendously sad time. Apparently Jett (their 16-year-old son) had seizures a lot and they believe he had one in the bathroom and fell and hit his head. John and others tried reviving him but it didn't work. It was announced this morning that they are currently doing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The family will have a viewing for the community and then later this week there will be one down in Florida. My heart goes out to John and his family.

This is a statement they released today:

"We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives. We have received many messages of condolence from around the world and we want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. It has meant so much to us. It is a beautiful reminder of the inherent goodness in the human spirit that gives us a hope for a brighter future."

Macaulay Culkin's Sister Killed after Being Hit by a Car

Macaulay Culkin's sister, Dakota, has died after getting hit by a car. Dakota was hit by a car when she stepped out into the road in LA. The driver did try helping her after he hit the 29 year old and waited there until he was questioned. She was taken to UCLA where she died of massive head trauma. The driver and his loved one were seen holding one another at the scene, neither were under the influence.

Kate Walsh Splits from Hubby

Kate Walsh from Private Practice is splitting from her hubby after only a year. Hopefully it wasn't because she was spending too much time doing production work for the show. The couple filed under irreconcilable differences, which in Hollywood that could mean just about anything. Hopefully the two are leaving on good terms, not because someone cheated on the other or something like that.

Britney Spears Thanks Fans

Britney Spears made a small video thanking all of her fans for making her album, "Circus" number one. She finishes it off wishing everyone a Merry Christmas but it doesn't stop filming until little Jayden burps. Whoops!

Chelsea Handler to Pose for Playboy

Rumor has it Chelsea Handler is going to pose naked for Playboy. I've no clue if this is true or not but I'm sure some are hoping it'll happen. Earlier this year she was named the Breakout Star of 2008 and she has a lot of books under her belt.

Britney Spears' For the Record

Were you lucky enough to watch the Britney Spears documentary? So far I'm hearing both good and bad reviews on the For the Record, I know TMZ just thought it was a load of the norm. I mean we had hoped to hear more about what was going on in her life when she went to the psych ward. But that part seemed to get skipped over, maybe they are afraid she can't talk about it yet.

Some believe the "tell-all" was simply a way to get a little bit more press for her newest CD release, "Circus." Which I think it worked, she even went down to England and is now back in the states.

She talks about marrying for the wrong reasons, how she gets her therapy through dancing and she even does a bit on her father. I can totally see him being the way she describes. Britney talks about how much her fame has made it incredibly hard to be like most celebs and be able to go out and just have fun with her boys. Instead they are locked up because going out is a Circus.

Debra Messing Hurt By Tabloids

Debra Messing is talking about her newest movie, "Nothing Like the Holidays" as well as her feelings with the media and how they hurt her. She told the press that she remembers after giving birth to her son, Rowan, back in 04 that the tabloids constantly put her in their magazines talking about how she hadn't lost the weight yet. She says she got very depressed and deeply frustrated, but eventually she got her pre-baby figure back by eating healthier.

She adds, "I was exhausted! I couldn't work out three hours a day and do my job as a mother and an actress. So I took the pressure off. I cut back on seeing the trainer but started eating healthier.

"Ultimately, I'm very proud of how I dropped the weight because I think it was the healthy approach. I've finally taken ownership of my body."

But it didn't, then they thought immediately after. Didn't happen again. Now I've heard two rumors, one is they would marry when Harlow was walking by herself and the newest is they will wed once Harlow turns 1. I guess it would be a symbol of love and a day they'd never forget.

Paris Hilton Crush Benji Madden

Paris Hilton has left, errr dumped Benji Madden in what some believe is because of her new found love in Prince William. Keep in mind she recently visited him and came back to the states stating she'd love to live over there. Maybe this didn't go well with Benji who now has a new niece. That or maybe they split because neither loved one another anymore. What are your thoughts?
