Harry Potter's Dumbledore Gay

J.K. Rowlings recently told fans that our dear Dumbledore was in fact....Gay. How does that make you feel? Did you have a feeling or was it a shock to you? Honestly I thought he and Professor McGonnagal were a secret item.

JK Rowlings Writes Again!

J.K. Rowling, author to the Harry Potter Series has admitted to already writing once again. In fact she's penning two books at the same time. No news if it has anything to deal with the Potter series but I doubt it. She does state one is a children's book and the other is not. Hmmm, maybe she's writing romance?

While Rowling does insist she cried when completing the series, she is also glad to be writing. I think it is a great fear of all authors to never write, especially when they have wrote a winner. A chance like this is a once in a lifetime and Rowling held on to it for dear life, she stuck to her instincts and never let go. I can't wait to see what she has for fans in the future.

Her bookshelf:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Even the Stars read Harry Potter

Yes, it seems even the stars are reading Harry Potter, or at least their children are. It seems this photographers caught Kate Beckinsale with her daughter Lily, right after watching "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" but if you look closer you can see the little darling holding a brand new copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." I wonder how long they had to stand in line, or if they just had someone go get it for them.

Harry Potter Madness

Crowds line up for the release of the newest Harry Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)." The book wouldn't be released until right after midnight but that wouldn't stop crowds from forming around book stores and other places around the world. That's right this wasn't just one place but globally.

In London fans would wait for hours. Quoted from Forbes,
"It's all that matters to him, to get this book - he couldn't eat or sleep," mother Laura Helmy said of her 15-year-old son, Bobby, who purchased the novel at midnight in central London.

With the United States however, those that lived on the West Coast actually had to wait 3 hours after those on the east coast got their books. Everyone had to wait until midnight in their time zone to have the Harry Potter book in their hand. No, they couldn't do it once midnight EST time.

Over 5000 people were lined up outside Waterstone's bookstore on Piccadilly in central London. Eeeek, can you picture being in that line? Maybe if I was the first person there.

In China, bookstores sold more than 200 books in a matter of 40 minutes.

NY City wasn't any different from the rest of the world. Lines all around towns, big people as well as infants in strollers were lined up for the book. Children dressed in Halloween costumes, Harry Potter and witches.

My question for you is....do you have the book?

Daniel Radcliffe says Actresses are Insane

Daniel Radcliffe thinks actresses are insane. Hmmm, speaking from experience or has he watched to many movies. When Details Magazine asked what he thought of dating an actress he replied,
"I think it would be very hard to go out with an actress, because they're mad. Some actresses are just insane. I've never worked with a nasty actress – they're all absolutely delightful. But completely barking."

But if he is like any other celeb the minute he becomes a gentleman and opens a door for a lady I'm sure they'll be saying he's dating her. He also told Details Magazine,
"All it takes is for me to be seen chatting up a girl for [tabloids] to, you know, make up some crappy headline about me being a sex rat or whatever they call it."

Harry Potter Fans to the Rescue

Harry Potter fans are trying to force J.K. Rowlings into continuing on with the series. I'm sorry folks but I don't think this one can be forced, even Rowlings herself cried when she finished the last book.

In the meantime there is a fan site creating a petition for this cause. Here is a link to the article 'Keep the Harry Potter books coming' - fans petition JK Rowling

"We, the undersigned, petition JK Rowling to write more new adventures for Harry Potter and his friends no matter what happens at the end of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'."

To all those fans, good luck.

ACCKKK! A Harry Potter Spoiler

There's a hacker amongst us, at least that's what BBC News is telling us. Apparently someone, who calls themself "Gabriel" is posting they hacked into the Bloomsbury publishing system and downloaded a copy of the book.

Do we believe this guy? My guess is he'd just trying to ruin it for anyone and even if it is the case he doesn't give away everything. I'm calling his bluff on this one. Course if he really did do this I'd suggest having him arrested. Especially since he supposibly admits to breaking into the system and stealing content.

I will not say who he insists will die but I will say it would make since if he is correct. In the end, if it is true I hope J.K.Rowlings does the proper thing and teaches him a lesson. We have exactly a month before the book is released, I know I'll be buying it. Will you?

Harry Potter Theme Park

Have you heard? There is going to be a Harry Potter Theme Park down in Orlando, Florida. Did ya ever really doubt there would be? Okay, I honestly thought California would get their hands on this first. I'm so going to this!

Currently the plans are being made but they believe it'll be ready by 2009. I'm sure no matter what there will still be hype of Harry Potter, even if there are no more books. After all, there'll still be the movies to come.

I wonder what date they'll open the doors, if it is anything like JK Rowlings book releases they'll open the gates at midnight on July 21. Wouldn't that be something? The crowd would be HUGE and I can picture all the Harry Potter actors/actresses to be present as well signing away for their fans.

Will you go?

Rowlings Makes an 8th Book

Okay, now I'm confused, I thought the Harry Potter series would only be 7 books. But now I hear that there is an 8th book being made by J.K.Rowlings herself.

My guess is it is a book with all the "extras" that didn't fit inside the other 7 books. The more meat of the stories type of thing, which could be very interesting to us fans. I'm not so sure I'd be happy to hear that the series didn't end at 7, especially since I figured Harry and Voldemort would both die to end it. Hmmm, it makes ya wonder, doesn't it?

Rowlings has made it known that there would be no more books after "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," which comes out July 21, 2007. But she still might make one more encyclopedia type of book. Which explains why there'd be 8 books to the series.
